Peenemuende

My two boys and I are planning a trip to northern Germany at the end of March (2008) to see some of its history including the war museum at Peenemuende (V2 Rocket) site north of Berlin. Does anyone have information on hotels or other interesting attractions in that area? We will be heading north from Dresden in a rental car so if there are points of interest someone knows of as we head up or back down on our way into Czech please let me know. Thanks, Martin

Although i have not been that far east along the Baltic there are a few web sites that may be of interest

For maps have a look at www.viamichelin.com and they also list local attractions and hotels

For hotels have a look at www.hotel.de and look for the link to English
